Hey friends! My little home on the web is better known as my journal or blog. I'm new to the blogging world but excited to start sharing more about me and the precious moments in life that I am so honored to be a part of and to document for others.

Hi, I’m Jessica!
You may be here because you’re looking to capture something meaningful in your life and you’re probably wondering why is photography my passion. It genuinely makes my heart happy to document the connections that people share with others and deliver everlasting memories.
My passion for photography took over in 2014 when I realized just how important photos were. My husband went away for his first deployment on a ship and with little to no communication for months at a time, photos of us were all I had to comfort me. It became important to me to make sure the moment we were finally reconnected was captured. I could only imagine the impact this could have on an even greater scale for myself and others. I established Jessica Francis Photography in April 2018 when living on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, I specialize in Couples, Family, Maternity, Military Homecomings, & more. I have always loved making others happy so photography is the perfect fit. I feel I’m able to capture something that others will have to cherish for future generations to come. My husband and I relocated to San Diego, CA in the summer of 2019 for some military schooling and we will be relocating again to Ventura County, CA this coming January, 2021. I’m only booking the San Diego area until Sunday, December 13, 2020 so I can enjoy the holidays and relax before moving.
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
One day photos will be all we have left when we are looking back on our lives. It’s beautiful how photos can hold and develop so much value over time.
I’m a natural light photographer that specializes in golden light and landscape photography with a colorful, rich, and bright style. I strive to provide my clients with an effortless photography experience all while creating and providing everlasting memories. My preferred time to schedule sessions is around 1-2 hours before the sun sets to get the best golden light (depending on location). I love outside photography rather than being in studio and prefer candid imagery rather than uncomfortable posing. Let’s have some fun in the setting sun!
I would love to chat with you about scheduling your future session and capture the connection you share with the people you love most. Head over to my “Investment” tab to get more information on investment and collection options or my “Let’s Chat” tab to get in contact with me. I’d love to say Hi and hear more about you!
