First of all, Ventura County, California is a slice of paradise on the beautiful coast of Southern California! As a couples and family photographer, it’s important for me to find and offer the best locations to my clients. Next, a few of my top photography locations in Ventura County for portrait sessions include Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Ojai, & the beach. Beach sessions are booked during week days to avoid overcrowded areas that cause distractions and may require extensive editing which, depending on how extensive could require an additional fee. Subsequently, location scouting is such a fun part of this job! Finding the top photography spots that are not too crowded is very important so that my client’s have a unique and candid experience.

Moreover, it’s important to realize that as a military spouse, relocating business to each new location can be overwhelming, especially if you’ve never been near the area before but that’s just another reason why this aspect of my service brings me so much joy; also exploring and getting familiar with my new home for the next few years.
